In 2026, Loreto Normanhurst will open its new, state-of-the-art boarding house, purpose-built to accommodate 216 boarders in a modern and nurturing environment. Situated on campus, the boarding house overlooks the expansive green spaces of the school oval and the Loreto bushland, offering a peaceful and inspiring setting for students. Loreto Normanhurst is proud to be the largest girls’ boarding school in New South Wales, welcoming a diverse range of boarders from across Australia and overseas.

The new facility will feature contemporary living quarters, dedicated study zones, wellbeing spaces, and communal areas designed to foster connection, independence, and a strong sense of belonging. This boarding house will continue Loreto Normanhurst’s tradition of providing a “home away from home,” supported by a robust pastoral care and academic support framework tailored to the needs of each student.
