Our Pastoral Care program is designed to meet the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual needs of both students and staff, and is a key element of our student-centered approach to education that embraces the whole person.
The International/Overseas Student Coordinator and the Head of House at each secondary campus provide ongoing academic and pastoral care support to international students, parents and caregivers. They also oversee the caregiver and accommodation arrangements of international students to ensure the care and safety of each student at all times.
All teaching staff involved with international students are briefed by the International/Overseas Student Coordinator as to their involvement and the requirements of an overseas student, including obligations concerning attendance, counselling and academic progress.
Our boarding staff nurtures strong relationships with our students and offer guidance and support across every area of development – academic, social, physical and emotional – to ensure each student has everything they need to assist them in their day-to-day life in Melbourne.
