This beautiful environment and its state-of-the-art facilities provide students with the best possible setting to support their academic and extracurricular endeavours.

Libraries: Our Junior School Discovery Centre and the Middle and Senior Schools Research and Next Centre are large, bright and welcoming spaces stocked with books, technology, and study areas conducive to individual and group work. Both contain texts and online resources, computers and smart boards, with specialist staff on hand to assist students. Canterbury students can also access our online library website HERE - a space rich in information and resources.

The Research and Next Centre also houses our Digital Hub, featuring all of the latest STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) technologies and equipment.

English Language Centre: Canterbury’s English Language Centre is operated by specialist staff and situated in the Middle and Senior Schools. It is used for Literacy enhancement for International students as well as for general ESL tutorial support.

Canterbury Events Centre (CEC): The CEC seats around 2000 people and includes a stage large enough for a full orchestra, acoustic walls and ceiling, full theatre curtaining, a mezzanine level and a heat-and-serve kitchen. The sound and lighting enables professional-standard productions to be performed on stage.

  • open air amphitheatre that is regularly used for year-level meetings, lunchtime concerts and rehearsals.

Ovals and Fields:  The Canterbury campus includes three six sports fields. They house various athletics facilities, including two long jump pits and an eight lane athletics track.

Indoor Courts:  There are three multi-purpose courts inside the Canterbury Events Centre (CEC) that accommodate netball, basketball and volleyball. Each court comes with electronic scoreboards as well as floodlighting for evening matches.

Gymnasium:   A professional-standard, fully equipped gym on the CEC’s mezzanine level is used by staff and students.
