ACCOMMODATION

Committed to providing international students with access to our innovative learning programs, Caulfield Grammar School offers homestay options at Wheelers Hill Campus, and a co-educational boarding experience for Years 9 to 12 at Caulfield Campus.  

At Caulfield Campus, the beach, parks, cafes and shops are all within walking distance, and the city is just 15 minutes away by public transport. Boarders have access to the School’s extensive facilities, including a gym, weights room, basketball and tennis courts, and 50-metre indoor pool.  

Teachers offer after-hours tutoring for students in the boarding house. Boarding supervisors, the majority of whom are members of the teaching staff, provide excellent support with study, supervision and role modelling for boarders. Boarding house staff offer careful guidance in student social activities, meals and study routines.    

Boarding accommodation houses have spacious and comfortable common recreational areas, as well as designated study areas. Our accommodation offers a range of configurations – from single to three-bed rooms – to complement the learning program. All Year 12 students are given individual rooms. Girls and boys share recreational and dining facilities but are accommodated in separate boarding houses.

All meals are prepared on the premises. Three hot meals are provided daily, with lunch being accompanied by a smorgasbord and sandwiches. Light morning tea, afternoon tea and supper are also provided. Tea, coffee, Milo, cordial and fresh fruit are available at all other times. 

We also have an onsite Health Centre with registered nurses during the week and qualified first-aid practitioners onsite on weekends during the school term. This provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week support in need.
