MENTORING FOR MENTAL FITNESS

Every Knox Senior School student has an individual, trained mentor who helps him to identify his strengths and set academic and personal goals. Students are introduced to activities and exercises scientifically proven to increase levels of wellbeing and performance. All Knox teachers are trained in Positive Psychology.

KNOX TOTAL FITNESS

Knox Total Fitness is our integrated Positive Psychology program which aims to support and improve the social, physical, spiritual and academic fitness of every student.

Our program equips our students with life skills to ensure they perform at their very best and are more resilient to the stresses they may encounter as teenagers and young adults. Positive Psychology can play a crucial role in reducing depression and anxiety within the school environment. All Knox staff, including sport coaches, receive expert training in Positive Psychology from qualified psychologists.

We are proud to be a global leader in Positive Education. Knox is a founding member of Positive Education Schools Association (PESA). The association aims to work together with schools from across Australia, New Zealand and Asia that are considered to be key ‘pioneers’ in the implementation of Positive Psychology.
