ADMISSION PROCESS

Each year Toorak College welcomes many international students. If you are applying from outside Australia and do not hold an Australian citizenship or permanent residency, you must follow the specific application procedures listed below.

The Admissions Process

Step 1 – Application

Parents or their representatives submit an International Enrolment Application form with Required Documentation:

• Copy of AEAS test results (or public examination)
• Copy of Student’s most recent school report (translated)
• Copy of Birth Certificate
• Copy of Passport and Visa (if available)

The International Enrolment Application Form must be submitted to [email protected] and be accompanied with the application fee and required documentation.

Step 2 – Review

The Application will be reviewed. Admission to the school is conditional and the Principal must be satisfied as to the suitability of each applicant, including their English ability. A WeChat interview will also be requested.

Step 3 – Offer

The Principal is the only person who can issue a Letter of Offer. Offers are conditional upon the student reaching required English proficiency for the year level of entry. Reports from our Language School will form part of this assessment.

Toorak College will send the following:

• Letter of Offer
• Toorak College International Student Agreement
• Toorak College Guardianship Policy
• International Terms of Business
• Related policies to International Students

Step 4 - Acceptance

Parents have 14 days to accept an offer. To accept Toorak College's offer parents are required to:

• Pay the deposit (refer to your Letter of Offer)
• Provide a completed Toorak College International Student Agreement Form
• Provide a completed Medical Form

Step 5 – Confirmation

Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) documentation will be prepared upon the payment of the deposit.

Toorak College will send you the following, which will enable you to apply for a Student Visa:

• Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
• Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) (if applicable)
• Overseas Student Health Cover confirmation letter
