PASTORAL CARE

PASTORAL CARE
Beaconhills has a comprehensive Wellbeing program in place across all levels of the College, which strongly supports our students to be connected and engaged, feel safe and secure and be known as individuals.

Our Wellbeing program is supported by our Head of International Education, Heads of House, tutors and teachers, the school nursing staff, counsellors and chaplains.

The program is based on significant evidence that links a strong sense of personal wellbeing and school connectedness to a positive impact on successful learning.

Staff are trained to understand and respond to a broad range of issues affecting students and students are encouraged to look out for and support one another.  Specific supports are available for those students who, at times, may require them.

Beaconhills College has eight Houses named after our College founders and each student ‘belongs’ to a House. This culture helps foster each student’s sense of identity, belonging and self-esteem.
