ACCOMMODATION

At Kingswood College, we provide school-approved Homestay accommodation for international students aged 14 and over, starting from Year 9. This is done in full compliance with the National Code 2018 and Victorian Child Safe Standards to ensure a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Our Rigorous Homestay Process:

• We carefully recruit and screen Homestay families, including in-person interviews with all adult family members residing permanently in the home.
   
• Homes undergo regular face-to-face checks every six months, conducted by our International Student Coordinator and another staff member.
   
• All adult Homestay family members hold a Working With Children Check, receive training, and commit to abiding by Kingswood College’s Child Safe Policies.
