Boarding

Our heritage Boarding House is located in the centre of the College. Here your daughter will live with her ‘boarding family’, experiencing strong pastoral care and individual attention from our Director of Boarding and her staff.

The school is home to approximately 1500 students and has accommodation for up to 58 boarders from both rural and international backgrounds, offering a broad curriculum to students from a diverse range of backgrounds.

The girls reside in shared bedrooms, with increasing levels of privacy for Years 11 and 12. The house is structured vertically so the girls socialise and mentor each other across all year groups and the majority of our boarders are full time boarders, providing a stable and supportive environment. Boarding at PLC Sydney provides students with the opportunity to form life-long friendships with girls from both Australia and overseas.

Academic support at evening study sessions is provided by qualified teaching staff. Fun and enjoyable activities are organised on Friday evenings and weekends. Being located in the vibrant inner-west region of Sydney allows the girls to easily enjoy the many activities and events on offer in Sydney. The girls are also able to access the leisure facilities on offer at the College during open hours and are actively encouraged to develop a well-rounded lifestyle.
