ADMISSION PROCESS

ADMISSION PROCESS

International Enrolment Process

  1. Education agent or parents complete a Registration of Interest to be sent to the International Student Coordinator and the Director of Marketing & Advancement along with the student's school reports (past two years), copy of current passport and English test results (if available).
  2. School reports and English test results (if provided) will be reviewed and, if satisfactory, the student will be invited to an online interview. Parents and/or agents are welcome to join the student for this interview. If student has not sat an English proficiency test, they will be asked to sit the AEAS test to confirm number of weeks required in Woodcroft Intensive School of English.
  3. If accepted, a Letter of Offer, Enrolment Agreement and fee invoice will be sent to the Education agent or the student's parents. If a student is not accepted, the school will contact the agent or student's parents to inform them of the decision.
  4. Parents are required to pay the fees to the College by the date indicated on the invoice. When fee payment has been confirmed a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare letter (CAAW) will be issued for the student to submit their visa application.
  5. Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a requirement for the student visa and the cost will be included on the invoice. If parents choose to purchase their own OSHC, they will need to supply a copy of the cover when paying the invoice (less the cost of OSHC).
  6. The Education agent or parents will inform the school when the student visa has been granted and the arrival details of the student. Woodcroft College will forward pre-departure information to help the student prepare for leaving home and arriving in Australia.
  7. Parents will complete the Homestay Application form from Happy Homestay Adelaide. Happy Homestay will select a homestay family and forward details to the family for approval.
  8. Woodcroft College along with Happy Homestay will be in contact with the agent or parents about student arrival details, airport pickup requirements and the homestay allocation.
  9. A representative from Happy Homestay will meet the student at the airport along with the homestay family.
  10. The student will be welcomed to Woodcroft College with an orientation session along with fitting for school uniform and all the necessary stationery. The International Student Coordinator will be on hand to help a student have a positive start to their studies at Woodcroft College.
