Many of our International Students commence their studies at Billanook in their Senior Years, however Billanook College is registered to enroll International Students from Primary through to Secondary School, providing the option of a seamless educational journey for International families.

Billanook is renowned for its breadth of studies, offering 33 subjects across the VCE Years (Years 11 and 12) providing opportunities for learning over the full spectrum of academic and practical subject fields.

Billanook seeks to provide a positive study environment where students are able to explore their potential for academic rigor and personal development as they work successfully towards attaining their Victorian Certificate of Education.

Billanook College’s Learning Framework and courses are underpinned by three distinct types of learning experiences:

  • MASTERY experience involves in-depth conceptual and skill-based learning that comes from key learning area studies.
  • DISCOVERY experience empowers children to leverage their innate and natural curiosity to learn deeply and broadly through the acquisition and application of learning skills.
  • JOURNEY experience involves community, growth, well-being and support for students.

The College’s progressive curriculum is supported by extensive one-to-one contact with teaching staff fostering self-paced student learning.

Successful completion of the VCE with high grades is the most common pathway taken by local and international students to university studies.  The College is very proud of the achievements of its students - with our highly trained and dedicated staff team assisting the students to achieve their full potential in order to realise their dreams for the future.
